The World Party Tour
In May 2011, one year before the WATO agency was created, Foulques Jubert, Romain Corraze and Delphin Druelle went on a documenting mission in some of the most beautiful parties in the world – The World Party Tour.
In this context, they travelled for 7 months and attended:
– IMS Ibiza, Spain – the opening festival of club season on party island
– MUTEK electronic festival and Piknik Electronik in Montreal, Canada
– Sonar On & Off in Barcelona, Spain, with a boat party, rooftop party, warehouse party, etc.
– INmusic festival in Zagreb, Croatia, and Zrce Beach clubs on the Island of Pag, Croatia
– Heineken Open’er Festival in Gdynia, Poland, in a former Soviet military air base
– Exit Festival in a medieval fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia
– The famous Dour festival, Belgium
– Francofolies de Spa, Belgium
– Tomorrowand, a world historic immersive electronic festival in Boom, Belgium
– The Amsterdam Gay Pride, Netherlands; a floating party parade
– Sziget Festival in Budapest, Hungary
– Republic of KaZantip, a neo-hippie one-of-a-kind festival in Ukraine (cancelled since Russia’s invasion of Crimea)
– Creamfields, UK, a music and mud festival with a very appropriate name
– Notting Hill Carnival, a Caribbean festival – quite disappointing – in the streets of London, UK
– The amazing Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert, US – a trip to another planet
– Inox Park in Paris, France, followed by Paris’s techno parade
– Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany – largest beer festival as well as biggest funfair in the world
– I Love Techno, Belgium
– ADE Amsterdam, a festival for electronic music experts
The World Party Tour was made a reality thanks to:
