The Manor of Reveries : A surealist dream party in St Moritz

Nestled high in the mountains above St. Moritz lies one of the world’s most elusive private clubs: the Dracula Club.

To celebrate the induction of a distinguished new member, three friends set out to create an unforgettable evening.

Theme: Manor of Reveries — an invitation into a surreal dreamscape.

Objective: Transform every square inch of the club so completely that even its most devoted regulars would fail to recognize it.

The Experience

• Creation of a monumental entrance portal inspired by the visual codes of the invitation.
• Design and production of seven bespoke haute couture costumes for the hosts by a renowned Parisian artist.
• Complete transformation of the ground floor into an endless checkerboard illusion.
• Guests welcomed by floating hands offering their first glass of champagne.
• Booking of 22 Milanese dancers, entirely painted in the colors of the décor, alternately embodying statues and mysterious creatures, forming a living human forest.
• Total metamorphosis of the dining room into an infinite checkerboard, covering walls, floor, and ceiling to create a flawless optical illusion.
• A bespoke tablescape conceived and crafted by an enigmatic Parisian cabinet of curiosities.
• Creation of a stage backdrop featuring a giant animated eye brought to life through surreal video projections.
• Seven world-class cabaret performers, including fakirs, burlesque artists, circus performers, and whimsical creatures full of wit and panache.
• Transformation of the tower into a monumental carousel, draped in shades of crimson and blush, animated by video projections inspired by the mechanics of a praxinoscope.
• Creation of custom eye-shaped masks for all 25 members of the service team.
• Conversion of a severe, austere room into a spectacular silver grotto, shimmering from floor to ceiling.
• Eight former Lido dancers performing surreal choreographies throughout the evening.
• A Balearic-inspired dancefloor led by two Parisian DJs, carrying the celebration through until dawn.
