Marriott International: The Hemingway Club
Marriott International asked WATO to organize a small and immersive Prohibition-themed event for 120 employees: The Hemingway Club.
The event featured:
- An actor welcoming guests in the parking lot
- An immersive theatrical trail including a crook, a corrupt police officer and a gangster speakeasy owner
- Fake banknotes given out to guests
- Goodies for guests: feather headbands, fake moustaches, hats, pearl necklaces
- Whisky tasting
- A temporary tattoo stall
- A casino game (roulette) with fake dollar bills
- A performance by an opera singer
- A close-up show by a burlesque dancer
- A mugshot photo backdrop
- A French-American swing band
- “Roaring Twenties”-inspired scenography
