Public event : The Oath of Alcazar

WATO, with the support of French politician Jack Lang, the Arab World Institute, sports non-profit UCPA and the Mairie of the 18th arrondissement, turned France’s biggest skatepark into a desert dancefloor.

The event featured:

• The bowls of a parisian skatepark turned into proper concrete dunes
• 60+ tons of sand discharged
• Myriads of Arabian decors and some camels
• 3,000 guests dressed as desert princes and princesses
• An exceptional concert by the Paris Scoring Orchestra covering the most famous movie themes to open the event
• Animations: henna stand, hookahs, Arabian silent disco, photo backdrop…
